Father Enoch Lepage, born in Rimouski on July 13, 1873, is the son of Etienne Lepage, farmer, and Victoria Gagnon. He studied in Rimouski where he was ordained a priest by Bishop Blais on June 8, 1898. He was vicar in Grande-Rivière (1898-1899); in Matane (1899-1900); assistant missionary in Méchins (1900-1901); parish priest of Notre-Dame de l'Isle-Verte (1901-1904); of St-Alphonse de-Caplan (1904-1906); and Anse-au-Griffon (1906 -)
